ANF Dog Food Chicken and Rice Adult 3kg : It’s wolfed down no problem and there’s no waste.

We keep looking for good quality kibble that won’t upset our 18-mth pointer’s stomach, and this seems to fit the bill. Small sized kibble (< 1cm diameter discs) so mixes very easily with wet food if you give combined, and the dog wolfs it down no problems at all and comes back for more. The small size means that they are useful as an alternative training treat too. No issues at all with digestion - the kibble is advertised as low in wheat and additives but high in chicken protein and rice, which makes sense. Handily packaged in a resealable bag, this is so far worth every penny and i will definitely be buying it again.

I have a boxer bitch and she. I have a boxer bitch and she eats this now. She used to eat eukanuba boxer, however, since being on this, her coat is shiny, she has no flaky skin, her eyes are brighter and her stool solid with little smell compared to previous foods.

“Top quality mix, gentle on tummies, really enjoyed by young & middle-aged Springers., Excellent quality food, even the cats like it!, It’s wolfed down no problem and there’s no waste.”

Top quality mix, gentle on tummies, really enjoyed by young & middle-aged springers. . This went down very well with my two adult springers, f. Clean bowls at each meal so far. Chicken and rice are generally very well tolerated by dogs with sensitive digestions, and although our two don’t generally have any problems, this didn’t cause any issues either. It’s a small kibble, – as others have mentioned, roughly the size of a 5p piece, which means it is only probably not suitable for tiny toy breeds like mini yorkies and mini chihuahuas – unless pre-soaked in some gravy or stock. The mix doesn’t contain wheat which is good news for dogs with allergies, but it does have a higher protein content than many mixes, for those few dogs on low protein diets, this is something for owners to consider. The big selling point of this food is that it is far less processed than other makes – hence the higher price – but if you do have a dog with skin problems this low – allergy mix may be the answer to your prayers. The dogs absolutely loved it.

It’s wolfed down no problem and there’s no waste. . Our adult shepherd drew the short straw when it came to easily upset stomach, skin disorders, ear infections and all manner of other problems so i’m a bit careful with what food i offer. I like to add kibble type food in with the meat at meal times but try to choose a type that doesn’t contain ‘fillers’ which seem to be the culprit when problems flare up. So far so good with this brand. Chicken and rice with no wheat added and high in protein. It’s wolfed down no problem and there’s no waste. Reasonably priced too which is always a bonus. I think i’ll be getting more of this when it’s done as it seems to go down well.

I’m not fond of processed dog food (well to be honest i’ve only eat cat kibble for a review and not the dog stuff) but my point is that for a dog like my westies who are prone to skin and eye problems, processed food seems to make everything worse & so we have had to feed bob chicken. However we tried this food as it was free and i’ll try anything if it’s free. Bob has not scratched while on this unlike cheaper foods like bakers, harringtons or beta. His skin is not oozing goo and his eyes are – well westie eyes with no tear ducts. The other thing is that despite the resealable packet bob keeps trying to break into it. . So actually i’m impressed. Yes this is costly but if it does the trick i’m happy to recommend it. After all bob is a womans best friend.

Our springer spaniel has a an amazing appetite at the grand old age of thirteen and half. He loves most types of food, although to be honest he would much rather have what we are having, tending to treat all actual dog food as something just fill up on. So we have to try and regulate his eating habits or he will easily put on weight. We have tried him with this brand and he eats it readily enough, he hasn’t had the look of disgust on his doggy face he sometimes gives us when presented with certain other dog foods. So on that evidence i am happy to recommend this brand.

This is a good quality food, without the crazy prices that ‘premium’ brands charge. Obviously can get food half this price, but it will definitely not be as good as this. The food is small kibble, most suitable for medium or small breeds. It seems to be nutritionally sound, without the usual filler and additives. The most important thing is will your dogs actually eat it?. One of mine is particularly fussy and has refused various forms of dry food over the years. No problem this time, she was wary until she tried a small piece, then she got stuck in and finished the lot. The smell is not unpleasant, and both dogs took to it well. So overall this is a good quality food at a reasonable price.

Anf chicken and rice seems to have a pretty good formulation with 33% chicken meat and lots of vitamins and minerals and chicken fat “for taste”. I can believe that as our jack russell scoffed it down in seconds and licked the bowl clean several times. The pellets are small round discs (approximately the size and shape of chocolate buttons). No nasty artificial colourants. No corn or wheat and contains fish oils. No tummy troubles ensued so i’m happy and so is my dog.

It’s always slightly tricky to accurately evaluate dog food when you aren’t the one who is eating it () but this morning my two dogs had a fight over their breakfast for the first time in the 5 years they have lived together. The only other time they have had a scrap is over bones, so there is clearly something worth fighting over in the anf kibble. (though don’t worry we just gave them supper further apart and it was quite amicable)other than that, the only other useful information i can give you is that the kibble is quite small. As others have said the make up of the food is very high quality and nutrionally it does seem to be a very good buy. Will definitely consider buying again.

A good quality food with good ingredients. Our shih tzu is fairly picky about her food and, on top of that, small enough that we need to be careful about the size of her kibble. The anf canine range comes in small, dry, oval shaped pellets (about a 5p piece size) that she seems to manage really well and over the time we’ve been feeding her these, she’s been hunting around for the bag between meals, so it’s obvious that she likes the smell and taste. The ingredients listed have a high percentage of meat (chicken in this case) and rice as the two main ingredients and also contain no wheat, corn or oats, which can sometimes act up on a dog’s stomach if they have an intolerance to these ingredients. The food has been designed to be as nutritious as possible without resorting to using bulking agents to bulk up the food, but this does not seem to be reflected in the price, thankfully. Some dogs may find these too dry and you could add a little water to soften them. We’ve mixed them in with royal canin, which is slightly wetter, and this seems to appeal more to our dog. The rate she eats them, though, means that she gives this her approval.

This is a very good dog food. Easy to serve and, from the action of my dogs, easy to eat. Feeding dishes were emptied rapidly. Kibbles seem to be an acceptable size and easy to pick up. I have given my dogs the lamb flavour before and was interested to see if there was any reaction from my dogs but i think they liked this just as much. Relatively odour free and easy to store.

This seems to be very enjoyable and edible to the dogs. One of our dogs will eat anything, and the other is extremely fussy. However both of them seem to like this and have been trying to help em selves before i wished up and moved the packet.

Quite a small sized kibble but throughly enjoyed by the doggie as shown by the clean bowl about 20 seconds after the bowl hitting the floor. No upset stomach (shes quite sensitive) and everything stayed firm on the way back out again too (to put it politely, shes prone to ahem, liquid motions) thumbs and paws up from us.

A good quality food at a fair price. . I like to purchase dog food that doesn’t contain cereal as we’ve a westie that gets itchy skin whenever corn or wheat is an ingredient. This food is 34% rice,33% chicken meal and then follows a list of ingredients that resembles a chemistry kit. I’m thinking our dog has had this food before under a different brand name as the shape and colouring are familiar, about the size of a large smartietruthfully, our dog is the fussiest dog on the planet and we’ve had to add ham, cheese or chicken to get him to eat it. Nothing new there but not the holy grail, for us,as another reviewer has commented. This isn’t a reflection on the food, just our dog. I don’t think the food is expensive bearing in mind it’s not using cereal to keep the profit margins up. In my view,it’s good quality food, contains no fillers that i can see and is at a price point that i pay anyway.

Very good value dried dog food. The dog loves it – and an added bonus is that it is wheat free so not likely to cause any upset stomaches.

My dogs like it and i like the price . Anf canine chicken and rice adult for my dogs are a tasty morsel as far as the empty plates. The actual food which is a very small kibble compared to our last food but for my older dog this seemed to be an easier food for her to chew which was a bonus for me. Neither dog had any ill affects from eating this new food which was another bonus as we have had difficulties in the past with other foods. For me to purchase this again i would prefer the low fat option anf canine low activity/ senior, 1 kg and with this particular one i would prefer this as it is for the more senior dog which for me is the perfect food as both dogs are no longer the young pups they once were. The one main bonus for me is that the food has no corn or wheat which my two dogs in the past have had trouble digesting dog food which has these two ingredients contained within the food. I do consider this a great food mainly because my dogs loved to eat it plus their stomachs showed no ill affects, and cleaning up after them was very easy. I am happy to recommend the anf canine chicken and rice adult for anyone who has dogs that are fussy yet the food is everything they need especially for those dogs who would have an intolerance to corn or wheat which is the one selling point which makes it the perfect kibble for my two very fussy plus diet conscious dogs.

Excellent quality food, even the cats like it. We’ve been looking at several types and brands of dog food lately, seeking out quality whilst ensuring our fearless four legged friend enjoys his food. I’m pleased to report that we appear to have ounce the holy grail, and his favourite by far in this holistic, wheat free food. It is also preservative free thanks to a clever packaging method. Anf is based on 3 sources of protein – chicken, fish and egg, and offers about 24% protein over all. Our boy can be fussy, and has the occasional upset tum, but with this quality dried food, no problems whatsoever. He loved it from the first mouthful. As we had mixed it in with his other food to get him used to it, it was good to see he snuffled out these kibbles and seemed to love every mouthful. The kibble is about the size of a 5p piece.
