As a veterinary nurse i can highly recommend this food. Dogs are carnivores and therefore require a high percentage of meat in their diets. Giant have different requirements to other dogs. Giant breeds with skin issues have slightly different nutritional needs on top of that. This food will provide everything your sensitive skinned giant breed needs needs. The big plus here is all the ingredients are named so you know exactly what your dog is getting. Artificial colors and flavors can cause behavioral and skin issues. You wont have that problem here. You will also find that your dog’s poo is very easy to pick up while on this food due to good quality fiber.

Great for little pups that will become big dogs. As a veterinary nurse i can highly recommend this food. Dogs and puppies are carnivores and therefore require a high percentage of meat in their diets. The ingredients list can be a little deceiving though. The fresh meat would have to be dried before being added so it would bring the actual meat content down to around 40%. I remedy this easily by adding a little lean meat to her diet every other day. Puppies are growing animals and they have different requirements to grown dogs. Giant breed puppies have slightly different nutritional needs on top of that. This food will provide everything your growing giant breed puppy needs. The big plus here is all the ingredients are named so you know exactly what your dog is getting.

    Fab food, can’t recommend enough. My mum was recommended it by a dog behavourist for her dog that was being extremely naughty (he was on hills at the time i believe). Thought i would change my old boy to the barking heads golden years as it has such a high meat content and he now looks absolutely amazing. When we got our puppy he was being fed on beta which has a really high cereal content. Quickly changed to barking head puppy days and his coat is now so shiny and he’s beautifully healthy and growing well. He also loves this food much more then the beta. About to change him to little big foot as he’s going to be a big boy and hopefully the size of the kibble is bigger – he really wolfs his puppy days so hoping with a tennis ball in his bowl and bigger kibble it will slow him down.
