Beco Pets Beco Food – Free Range Chicken : Our dog like this food and it is very good quality

This is ok, my dogs ate it because they were hungry but the pieces were a bit big for my miniature poodle and westie. I think for the bigger dog it would be fine. The food is a little bit smaller than a 5p. On the plus side it was compatible with the sensitive digestive systems of my dogs. It’s in the cupboard for backup if i run out of my usual food.

You pay for the quality of the ingredients. . This is a good quality dry dog food. Our dog certainly wolfs it down, but then that is no surprise – she will eat pretty much anything put in front of her – but i appreciate that it is made of better quality ingredients than most, and particularly that it is grain-free, though i do sometimes question some of the vegetables companies pack into these things. But, no matter, she loves it, she is fit and healthy, and – how do i say this in a delicate way?.- it’s easier to clean up after her than were she eating some sloppier food.

My diva dog seems to enjoy. . Lovely to be able to give the diva dog free range. She seems to enjoy this brand , not surprising as she only goes for expensive good quality food. Seems to fill her up better than other brands. Here are the specifications for the Beco Pets Beco Food – Free Range Chicken:

  • 38% Fresh Free Range Chicken, Potato, Carrot, Chicory and more.
  • Our chicken is traceable, fresh, ethically sourced and cooked at 90°C… no meat meal!
  • Grain free, gluten free, packed with prebiotic’s and easy on the digestive system.
  • Beco food is 100% natural! Free from artificial preservatives, flavours and colourings.
  • Made in the UK and comes in compostable packaging.

It smells quite pleasant and it mixes well with wet food. So far after a week the dog seems healthy, so no complaints. And it should last a long time.

High quality grub for the furry in your life. The bowl was cleaned in a flash. This food is very very high quality. Only great quality ingredients. Free range and organic, after all your furry is the hairy heartbeat of the home. Why not feed them the best?full of chicken it smells great, no nasty oily texture either. With this pet food you can feel happy that your furry is well fed and getting the best.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Our dogs couldn’t wait for me to open the pack
  • Particularly useful is the section on what “meat meal” is –
  • My diva dog seems to enjoy.

Fantastic ingredients for a cost. . Without a few months of testing i can’t clearly identify the full benefits of a healthier dog food such as this, but i can see how it would benefit our dogs. Well the first and foremost ingredient is free range chicken. It’s not the fact that it’s free range, really, though this does seem to point to the fact that the makers really care about both quality of its ingredients and quality of life for the livestock, but the fact that it’s actually chicken and not chicken meal, plus that it’s the main ingredient. The other important point to note that sets this food apart is that the other ingredients that follow the chicken are all natural and good for dogs in general. Yes, the cost is a lot higher in comparison to some, possibly many, other dog foods but a good quality human meal is far more expensive than mcdonald’s. We always balance the cost of dog food we buy against the quality, trying to stick to more of the latter if we can afford it, as we do with our own meals, but this is clearly head and shoulders above even what we usually feed our shih tzus. The pellets are smooth and round with a pleasant but not overpowering smell. As for the taste test, one dog loved it and the other much fussier dog seemed happy enough with it, going so far as to sniff the bag after feeding which is good for her considering she’s a real fuss pot.

If being eco- friendly is important to you here is a great product that ensures your pet can also eat ethically sourced food. The product is advertised as better for your dog and better for the environment. It is grain free and contains a wide range of superfoods, free range fresh meat and botanical herbs. Like i said it is at the pricier end of the market but if you are passionate about where all food comes from then this may be the product for you and your dog.

This product may be expensive, but you get what you pay for. All good ingredients, no nasty fillers. Smells delicious when the bag is opened. No more upset stomach problems. Best one i’ve bought in all my years of having dogs.

When i got this item i was impressed with all the healthy ingredients, making it a good choice for your dogs health. My dog did enjoy the first sample but once mixed with his old food he started to lose interest in it. I personally find it just too expensive to use all the time. I was impressed with the environmentally compostable bag though this was let down by the fact that this was in 2 plastic bags, defeating the object.

Popular with me and my hound. . Eco free range chicken food:good quality dog food that is made in the uk; is gluten free yet ticks the boxes for nutrition as well as taste. The last statement being endorsed by my dog who has merrily chomped his way through the pack that was sent to me. I normally feed him lilys kitchen or similar and at the weekends he gets meat. If i don’t feed him good quality food he ends up with vile wind and scratchy skin. So, it’s good to find another alternative. It didn’t make him overly thirsty, which some dry biscuit based foods do. And he certainly ate it all without taking a breath – a good signan impressive ingredients list – and the flavour matches murphys’ discerning taste too.

Expensive per kilo but made of quality ingredients. Described as, and no doubt actually as it says, a free range chicken based kibble. Because of the quality & provenance of the ingredients the price is really quite high, too high for us to use as a regular food but no doubt qualifiable to many dog owners. Easy opening bag, kibble small enough to be used as a training biscuit & no meat meal used to make it. Despite all this our 10yr old gsd didn’t take to it. Noticeably less smell than others we have used, perhaps this is the reason for his lack of interest. He did eat it, or some of it, when mixed with his existing kibble but one its own it’s a no go for him.

There is a lot to love about this kibble – my dog certainly likes it, although she will eat eight out of ten kibble brands, but will always prefer wet to kibble, given the choice. But as an owner i worry more about what goes into my dog than she does, and this ticks so many boxes for me that aside from one reservation i would happily use it as our standard kibble. Jargon-free ingredients that would out-do most human food, biodegradable packaging and brand values that give me a warm feeling. My one issue is that the meat content is relatively low, at just 30%. That is good compared to the major brands, but low compared to the better quality smaller brands, such as barking heads or lily’s kitchen. I tend to look for 60% meat, and my favourite is devoted at 60%but that is just a personal thing – i think that a dog’s should have as high a meat content as possible, no animal derivatives, and be grain free. I don’t have any science to back that up, it just seems to make sense. Anyway, this is as good a 30% meat kibble as you will find anywhere and knocks spots off the likes of james wellbeloved.

Good food if you are trying to feed natural but still want the convenience of kibble. It was happily accepted by both my dogs, one isnt usually fussy but the old boy can be very unpredictable about what he ca eat. No problem with this, down it went.

I have three greedy miniature schnazuers who loved this food. I have to be careful with one of them because she has very sensitive skin. Although this ticks all of the boxes, it hasn’t quite agreed with her and she has developed a hot spot. Packaging is good, its resealable and can be recycled which is a plus. The kibble is a nice size and my other two dogs have been fine with it.

Particularly useful is the section on what “meat meal” is -. I have an alaskan malamute who has recently got more intolerant to cereals so have had to change his food. Many people don’t realise the rubbish many dog food manufacturers put into the food and equally don’t realise the clever way the ingredients lists are written. Luckily beco have enclosed a really informative and well laid out leaflet showing all the things to look for with competitors. Particularly useful is the section on what “meat meal” is – a favourite of many well-known brands. Yes this food is expensive and in the premium bracket but for good reason. Few dog foods have the clear statement of “30% british free range chicken”. There is no meat meal or cereals in this and my dog loves it. Less faeces and a happier dog. The packaging is even compostable so the company have thought about everything.

Better for environment and your dog but hefty price tag. This is clearly a better choice of food for the environment – it uses natural ingredients and is produced in a more ethical way. The benefits of the food on your dog are that they will not be eating the leftover bits that end up going into dog food. The only thing i found was that my dog wasn’t particularly enamoured by it. After much anticipation of me opening the bag, i dropped some in front of him. Expecting him to gobble it up excitedly, thankful to be eating real free range chicken, he simply sniffed it and walked off. So not a great thumbs up for the taste – not that dogs have thumbs anyway. I have gradually introduced it mixed into his regular (much cheaper) dried food and he had reluctantly eaten it. The fact is, if i could afford it i would happily buy this product as i would feel more ethically conscious as a result and i’m sure my dog would learn to appreciate it. For now though i will mix it in with his regular food and at least we will both get some benefits.

Brilliant product, the dog does nuts for it, and the environmental and nutritional creds are excellent and well expressed in a leaflet so the whole family can enjoy learning about dog food together. The resealable bag’s a bonus too.

Top quality dog food that smells good, has great consistency and disappears in seconds. Incredibly impressive ingredient list, top quality dog food that smells good, has great consistency and disappears in seconds. In fact you just have to pick up the bag to gain intense canine enthusiasm, one which supermarket cans just don’t achieve.
