This is a change from the usual kibble. Rather it is a pressed product. My dog is not sure of it as it is not crunchy. Although he does eat it along side his usual food. I tried serving this in a separate dish but he wasn’t that keen. He is getting used to it and definitely is getting a taste for it. I hope he does because this is a high grade food and can only do good.
Stinks but the dogs adore this. . My dogs fell on this food like they were starvingin all honesty i’ve never seen them eat so enthusiastically – by far the most popular food they’ve ever eaten. The only problem i have with the food is the putrid smell. I keep the bag inside two bin liners but it still stinks. Unfortunately i can’t use it for treats as carrying something that smells so bad in my pocket certainly unpleasant. On the other hand, the dogs love it and i’ll buy it again.

A promising list of ingredientsbut the dogs would not touch it. . Forthglade cold pressed duck kibbles dry dog food, 6 kgthis is a new one and based on the impressive list of ingredients in the promotional literature, one i thought would be a real treat. This is a ‘cold pressed’ dry dog food. I was not sure of what this meant but reading forthglade booklet, it keeps all the nutrients and therefore offers an ideal mixture to look after your dogs. Certainly there is no rubbish here and importantly no maize ‘fillers’. On arrival we soon became aware of a very strong smell which increased dramatically when the bag was opened. It became overpowering when kept in the utility room and so got moved to the garage. The bag is not re-sealable and so once opened is difficult to contain the smell. Our dogs are used to trying new foods through promotional gifts and sponsors prizes at dog shows. Our normal (well tried) practice is to mix new foods with their existing food for a week before trying it on it’s own.
