Have been giving this to our youngest basset hound -. Have been giving this to our youngest basset hound – who dislikes other dogs intently and is highly excitable – for approx 1 month. It seems to be calming him, but as we have only been giving it for such a short perid i would hope to be able to confirm it’s effect for certain in another month or two. Brilliant product was convinced it was a placebo so did not replace it when the first bag ran out and almost immediately my gsd turned back into her anxious nervous state i will never never run out of this product again and for my dog it truly works and now i recommend it to everyone.

    I have tried numerous calming products that have’nt worked but. I have tried numerous calming products that have’nt worked but my rescue dog is so much calmer & relaxed after using this for a few weeks i will definately be re-ordering more.

        Excitable dog who is afraid of fireworks. . I chose this product as i have an excitable lab who has arthritus. The herbs just take the edge of her excitement and stops her tensing her joints alleviating a little of the pain – it also helps with calming hera little with fireworks. The shine in her coat is amazing and she seems much happier. She is on her second bag now.

    Certainly helps, and no side effects. Yes, this does have rather a strong smell (and probably taste), but my dog will certainly eat it when mixed in with his moist canned meat. I guess if you only feed dry biscuit, the dog may not eat this powder as well. I give him it in 3 doses (with his 3 meals a day) so it’s not too much at once. He is a cross-breed rescue dog with some serious anxiety issues and this herbal mixture certainly helps. He’s been on it for 3 months now, every day, and i can tell if i miss a dose. I also gave him too much one day by accident and i could tell that as well, he looked a bit woozy. Normally though, he’s fine, alert, not at all `dopey’, but just a bit calmer and more in control of himself than before he was on these herbs. There has been no effect on his bowels or stomach at all. I certainly have no intention of stopping the herbs anytime soon, until he’s had another few months to overcome some more of the psychological traumas from his past.
