My puss just loves these – value for money.
Great for my ragdoll cat who has ibd (inflammatory bowel disease). I’ve clicked on five stars ‘i love it’. The truth is, i’ve never actually tried it, but my cat loves it. Just over three years ago it was suspected that he had early stage cancer of the bowels. After various veterinary treatments, it was decided that he doesn’t have cancer at this point but inflammatory bowel disease. Now his medication has been reduced to a steroid injection and vitamin b12 injection every few weeks. It’s been a hard road trying to find something that alfie can eat regularly and can keep down, or in, both ends. The product does tend to make his faeces (sorry) a bit looser but it’s not bad enough to be an issue. Now alfie won’t eat anything else. And my carpets appreciate it too.
My vet recommended this diet food as one of my cats has a sensitive digestive system it’s proved to be very successful and much to my surprise my cat enjoys eating it, just as an aside my elderly blue short hair likes it too. Here are the specifications for the Purina Pro Plan Dry Cat Food Veterinary Diets Ha St/Ox Hypoallergenic Clinical Diet:
My cat with skin allergies loves it. And her skin has improved as well.
For whatever reason, my cat has gone absolutely insane for these. A colleague gave me a handful to try with her, and it was a real success. This is an insanely big bag, but she’s already blitzing through them. I couldn’t recommend these highly enough.
Reviews from purchasers :
I was recommended this product by my vet as my pedigree cat, not unlike the picture on the packaging, was getting very obese. I think he was being fed by one or more of my neighbours. He was also being sick after most meals. As this size bag is so much cheaper than the vets in have purchased four 3. He has lost lots of weight and is not being sick any more. I would definitely recommend this product, he has nearly reached his recommended weight.
Solved my cats allergic reaction. Been using this 8 weeks now for my maine coone cat who takes a severe reaction. He’s been fed on normal cat food all his days nearly 5 years and has suffered swollen pads and swollen lips including ulcers. Finally one vet at my surgery decided to put him on purina plo plan hypoallergenic and within 5 weeks all ulcers and swollen lips have disappeared. He did have two injection as well but they have done their stuff and usually the symptoms return but not this time. On the first day he wasn’t interested in what basically looks like rice crispies day two he ate some and now he can’t get enough. His coat looks amazing and he has also put on weight. This food has worked wonders for my cat and it’s actually working out cheaper than the normal brand he used to eat.
