Wafcol Sensitive Dog Food Chicken & Corn : ? Great product

My dog has numerous allergies and getting something rice free isn’t easy but this is great.

Excellent price for this item, quick delivery.

Good product for my lab with digestive sensitivity. This is the first time i have purchased this dog food from amazon, and disappointingly, the bag i received has a pretty short expiry date. I received it on the 7th august 2015 and the best before date is 17th september 2015 – since the bag usually lasts my dog for just over 3 months, it will be 2 months out of date by the time it is finished. The food was marginally cheaper from amazon than other sources (cheaper still, with subscribe and save), so i will see what the date life of the next bag is, but if it is similarly short, i will purchase elsewhere in future. With regards to the product itself, i’ve fed this to my dog for over 6 years and he does well on it, alongside cans of meat. It took several years of experimentation to find what feeding regime didn’t upset his digestion, and as such i would not choose to switch from this product. Edit – 7th december 2015i received the second bag of this food on the 5th december, via the subscribe and save scheme, and the date life was considerably more acceptable. This time, the best before date is 28/08/16. Pleased this time around, will continue to purchase from amazon (as long as the date life continues to be acceptable), and i have increased my rating from four to five stars.

   All the wafcol products are fantastic for my chow chow. His skin and coat are in great condition. I got wafcol, because other foods, made his skin itch, to the point, he was getting open sores and his coat was patchy and bald in places. Not nice for a chow chow (or any dog). Within a week of using wafcol, the was a massive difference in his skin, sores were healing, skin wasnt swollen and hot. Within 2 months, his coat is perfect, one very happy bearlock holmes. I would highly recommend this product to animals with sensitive skin.

     She has been a happy healthy dog all this time and i would not. My 8yr old rough collie has been fed on this since she was 8 weeks old. She has been a happy healthy dog all this time and i would not contemplate feeding her anything else it may be a little more expensive than other brands but i find it well worth the extra having said that this supplier was the cheapest i have found.

   I initially tried this food for my dog by some free samples via my veterinary practice. I have a long white haired german shepherd and she has been unwell with tummy problems and uk restive colitis for a while. After having treatment nd a bland diet of chicken and rice, i discussed feeding her this with my vet. I am now weaning it into her food plan and she really likes it. I’m hoping that she will continue to do so. Another great price from amazon too.
